We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team in Hoboken, Antwerp, where you'll be at the forefront of welding large, intricate steel structures, including the foundations of wind turbines and substations. Job Description:
As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for:
• Utilizing a semi-automatic welding station for precision work.
• Executing fillet welds and full penetration welds in single and multiple layers using filled/solid wire.
• Welding assembled structural parts in accordance with welding regulations (WPS) and predetermined welding sequences.
• Being attuned to the parameters of welding stations for optimal results.
• Welding pieces while considering deformations and shrinkage.
• Preheating welding pieces to the appropriate temperature.
• Upholding strict adherence to safety regulations.
Candidate Profile:
We're looking for a candidate who:
• Brings valuable experience in semi-automatic welding, especially with HLO-45°.
• Demonstrates proficiency in welding in various positions.
• Possesses technical insight and easily understands welding instructions.
• Has the knowledge and ability to set welding parameters.
• Displays flexibility and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Prioritizes safety in every aspect of the job.
• Embodies passion for the craft and excels in autonomous work environments.
• Additionally, the ideal candidate: is willing to attend (paid) training courses and is open to obtaining necessary certificates, including a VCA certificate, through employer-sponsored programs.
Offer:
• Gross salary starting from 17 euro bruto per hour
• Meal vouches
• Day time program starting from 7:00
